Where do the doves go after they are released?
The doves are specially bred and trained pure white homing pigeons. After they are
released they circle several times to get their bearings, then fly back to their loft where
a healthy meal awaits them. The doves do not fly at night, therefore all releases must
be done so that the birds have enough time to return home before dark.
What about rainy weather?
High winds or heavy rains can make it difficult for the doves to return to their loft.
We love our birds, and will not release them if the weather would make their journey
home unsafe. All deposits will be refunded in full if a release is cancelled because of
bad weather.
What is your cancellation policy?
A 50% deposit is required at the time of reservation to hold your date. This is fully
refundable up to 30 days prior to the event. Cancellations due to inclement weather
are fully refundable.
Are custom release baskets available?
Yes! Give us the ribbon, flowers, etc. and we will decorate the release basket to match
your theme. We will be there on time, and in proper attire. We want the perfect dove
release for your special occasion.
